
IPW PNT Learning Conference 2023
Immigration Partnership Winnipeg (IPW) invites you to a conference to bring together Local Immigration Partnerships’ (LIPs) coordinators and staff from the PNT region to discuss how to effectively engage with stakeholders, create strategic plans, and share knowledge on how to diversify funding.
This learning event will provide a space for learning and sharing between LIPs through discussions around best practices, tools, and creative solutions to common challenges while recognizing each PNT LIP is unique and meant to address their local contexts.

Call for Proposals:
With the help of an Advisory Committee, comprised of four people from the region and four IRCC representatives, the following topics were identified for discussion and learning during the PNT learning conference. Below are the names of advisory Committee members:

We are inviting interested presenters to submit proposals base on the topic of their choice within the following theme areas:

Strategies for LIP’s to diversify their funding.

Best practices in stakeholder engagement, in particular cross-sectoral (or multi-sectoral) engagement (e.g. all levels of government, settlement sector, ethnocultural groups, Indigenous Peoples, business sector, etc.).

Design and dissemination of effective Strategic Plans that influence policies, mobilize communities and inform programming/services.

Roundtables/Breakout room discussions that showcase the uniqueness of particular LIPS - invitation to share diverse approaches, experiences, innovative tools and knowledge, to improve the welcome, settlement and integration experience of newcomers.
